Much of my practice has been heavily influenced by Thai Massage, the principles of Esalen Massage, and many forms of energy work encluding Attunement and CranioSacral work. Although I have only been pracitcing Traditional Thai Massage for the past two years, my Esalen Instructor, Ed O'dell, whom I had early connections with, had also studied Thai Massage in Thailand and tought me how to combine Thai with Esalen massage on the Table. I learned my Tradional Thai Massage from Jennifer Barnett who spent a large amount of time studying in Thailand as well.
My Mission
My goal has always been to first and foremost, treat each client with reverence and care, to assist my clients in finding balance, peace and tranquility, to help keep that balance in their lives and facilitate a higher awareness of Truth for each individual. Whether it is body/mind/spirit maintenance or helping you to uncover a seemingly deep hidden Truth about yourself, that is my objective.
My Own Journey and Spirituality
My Journey has led me to the study of Eastern Spirituality and Healing, New Thought and Shamanism, Energy-Clearing and Balancing and most recently Men's work which involves reclaiming the complete balanced maculine. I have worked with EMDR Therapy which is a great tool for healing past traumas and Polarity Therapy which is a great balancing tool.
My Credentials
I have 547 hours of Training in Massage and Bodywork. I am Nationally Certified. I worked for Massage Masters and The Steeple Inn and Spa, Dr. Scott O'Brien, Chiropractor, Dr. Kim Jacobs, Chiropractor and Acupunturist, all in the Kansas City Area and all in the past five years, as well as having my own private practice in the Kansas City area before moving back to the bay area in the fall of 2008. I have been in my own practice since moving to the west Sonoma County and am looking forward to being in the East Bay to both Further my studies in the Healing Arts and offer my Services to others in need.
